Demerit Point Special Hardship Licence (Special Hardship Order)

When a person has accumulated too many demerit points, they will receive a letter from Queensland Transport asking them to choose between a 1 year 2 demerit point 'Good Behaviour' licence and a 3 month suspension.

If that person elects the 1 year 2 demerit point licence, and if they lose those 2 demerit points within that year, we can apply for a Demerit Point Special Hardship Licence (Special Hardship Order) on that person's behalf.

High Speed (40 km/h Over) Special Hardship Licence (Special Hardship Order)

When a person is booked for having exceeded the speed limit by 40 km/h or more, they will receive a letter from Queensland Transport telling them that their licence has been suspended for 6 months.

In this instance, we can apply for a High Speed/40 km/h Over Special Hardship Licence (Special Hardship Order) on that person's behalf.
